It has been a joy and honor to serve you all as an intern alongside the clergy team. During my time here, I have learned a lot about church leadership, administration, and worship. Your clergy staff has remained a constant resource and guide to learning more about ministry and my development as a pastor.

Cascade, I am still thanking God for the blessings we experienced this Easter Season. The Seven Last Sayings of Christ Worship Service on Good Friday offered preaching at its best. Our Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success, too. Oh, but the “Sonday Morning” presentation by our young people at 11:15 a.m. was the essence of Romans 8:28: And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Therefore, I want to congratulate our talented and gifted children for a job well done and acknowledge all contributors—the passionate ones who love God and are called to His purpose. Thank you for pouring your best into our children and for using your gifts, talents, and patience to deliver the best dancing, singing and speaking parts we have ever witnessed.

As we have embraced these spiritual disciplines, God has been at work, transforming us into the fullness of who He’s made us to be.

While I am confident that God will respond in faithfulness, I am not as certain that we are always as real with God as we should be. For this reason, I offered three perspectives to consider as we search for peace and answers from God:

I want take this opportunity to thank all the persons who contributed to another successful Marriage Enrichment weekend. The Friday and Saturday events provided good fellowship and helpful information. The Sunday worship was both informative and inspiring. I would like to share with those of you who missed it, and remind those of us who were there, a recap of the message delivered by Rev. James B. Logan.
